Who I am…

A Colorado native (lucky me!), I grew up on the front range and attended college in California. I draw on my varied experiences in service jobs that included retail, food service, hospitality, 911 Operator, casino work, and for the last 20 years as a house cleaning professional. I pride myself in being among those considered “support staff”–those who are often overlooked as unimportant–and hope through my storytelling to bring light to their vital contributions to community.

I am a feminist, mother and grandmother, an avid gardener and environmentalist. I am currently in semi-retirement and experimenting with a more nomadic lifestyle. Peace!
